Crestwood Park
Crestwood Park is located on West Crescent Avenue in Allendale. This is a 71 acre Municipal facility that includes a lake, 3 beaches, and a barn pavilion (The Red Barn). The pavilion is available to only Allendale residents or Allendale businesses by permit for group activities. The Park is also the site for various athletic programs, including baseball, softball, football, soccer and lacrosse. Ice skating is available during the winter months. Crestwood's facilities are open to all Allendale residents.
Crestwood Lake opens for the 2008 swim season on Saturday, May 24th. Applications are currently being accepted for the 2008 swim season. You must have proof of residency, which may include the following:
* a current water bill
* any current bill that has your name and address
* a driver's license
If you are sponsoring an out of town guest, they must be with you when they register. In order to be a sponsor you must be a resident of Allendale and a member of the Lake.
For residents living in Ho-Ho-Kus, Saddle River and Upper Saddle River may join Crestwood Lake without being sponsored by an Allendale resident. If you are interested in joining the lake you may print out the application below and bring it into Borough Hall. Please show your driver's license as proof of residency. If you have any questions about joining the lake please call the Borough Hall at (201) 818-4400 ext 200 or ext. 201.

Registration for Swim Lessons
Children ages five and up may be registered for swimming lessons at the main office of Crestwood Lake on Saturday, June 7th. Non-residents may register beginning on June 8th. Registration is limited to one session per child and children will be placed in groups according to their ability.
Session one will run from July 7th through July18th. Session two will run from July 21st through August 1st. The price for swimming lessons is $40 per child. Payment must be made at the time of sign up. If you are planning to pay by check, make your check payable to the Borough of Allendale. There will be no refunds given.
Crestwood Cruisers Swim Team Registration
The Crestwood Lake Swim Team is open to all Allendale boys and girls ages 7 to 17. Children do not have to be good swimmers to join the team, but they must be able to swim 25 yards in deep water. A deep water test will be given to all new swimmers during the first week of practice. Practice will begin after school at Crestwood Lake on Tuesday, May 27th. Practice will change to morning hours once school is over.
Members of the swim team must also be members of the Lake. Swim team members who are age thirteen and under must join the lake with a parent.
The deadline for registration is May 1st and no registration forms will be accepted after the deadline. Registration forms are available at the Borough Hall and Lee Memorial Library and should me mailed to the Crestwood Swim Team c/o Linda Morgan, 8 Franklin Turnpike, Allendale, 07401. Dates For Swim Club Badges
The following schedule has been set up for photographs for Crestwood badges. If you have space on your current badge for this season's sticker, it is not necessary to replace your badge. If your badge is filled however, you may have a picture taken for a new badge on the following dates:
Monday, May 5th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, May 10th from 10 a.m. to noon; Thursday, May15th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and any Monday through Friday beginning May 12th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Picture badges must be presented at the gate upon entering and should be worn at all times at the Lake. All members must have a picture badge that has been issued from Borough Hall. In the event of a lost badge, a replacement will need to be obtained. There is a five dollar charge for that service.
