The Assessor's Office is open on a daily basis from 9 AM – 4: 30 PM. The Assessor is available on:

The Tax Assessor is responsible for the listing and assessment of all properties within the municipality. The Tax List is prepared each year and presented to the Bergen County Board of Taxation each January.
All appeals must be filed with the Bergen County Board of Taxation prior to April 1st of each year. Parcels with an assessment in excess of $750,000 may be filed directly with the New Jersey State Tax Court in Trenton. Petitions of appeals may be obtained by calling (201) 336-6300 or by writing to:
Appeals from Added or Omitted Assessment must be filed by December 1st with the Bergen County Board of Taxation.
There are several deductions available to qualifying residents within the municipality:
· Veterans Deduction
· 100% Disabled Veterans Deduction
· Unremarried widows of Veterans and Disabled Veterans
· Senior Citizen Deduction
· Surviving Spouse (55 yrs or older) of existing Senior Deduction
· Disabled Person Deduction
