11. Does Allendale offer a Well Baby Clinic?

A Child Health Clinic is located in Waldwick. The program is for Allendale residents and is for well children only whose parents do not have insurance coverage. A physician and a registered nurse are in attendance at each clinic. Children are given physical examination and any immunizations which are required provided there is no medical insurance coverage. 12. How do I safely dispose of my used syringes?

Needles and/or syringes must be placed in a protective container made of metal, tin or hard plastic such as a coffee can, detergent or Clorox bottle. The lid must be placed back on, taped and marked medical waste and/or sharps container. This can be disposed of safely in your regular trash pickup. Englewood Hospital and Holy Name Hospital offer a program whereby sharps containers are provided to the individual. When they are returned fill they are exchanged for an empty one.
