2. If I want to speak to the Mayor and Council in person, how do I get on the agenda?
Both the Work Session and the Regular Session are opened to the public for comments. If you want to speak during Work Session, be at the meeting at 7:30 p.m. because the meeting will be opened to the public very close to that time. At the Regular Session the meeting is opened once to the public to speak on any agenda item, and once to the public to speak about any topic. Plan to be at that meeting for 8:30 p.m. although it is difficult to say what time you will be given an opportunity to speak, that would depend on the complexity of the agenda.
